Board of Directors (2025-2026):

Our board is voted on at the yearly congregational meeting where we review the financial and communal health of the fellowship. The board meets monthly to coordinate committees, project, and worship services throughout the year.

The board consists of roles that are temporarily occupied by different members annually, as we work together to steward our congregation into the next 50 years of spiritual, communal, and intellectual connections.

UUFP Committees

"We are small, but mighty"

As we say in many UU congregations, "we are united by action, not by creed." The question becomes, how can we put our UU principles into action? At UUFP we have many projects going on, from the health of our community and facilities to the positive impact we aim to make in the greater Pottstown Area. Worship Committee

Being a Lay-Led congregation requires an immense amount of planning, contact, and organization. If you are interested in speaking yourself, or you have a speaker who you would like to recommend, please use the contact form below.

Buildings and Grounds

With ten acres, a full kitchen and dining facility, classrooms, a sanctuary, and more, our Buildings and Ground Committee is always looking for extra hands to roll up their sleeves and continue the UUFP tradition of member stewardship over our special facilities.

Social Justice

The Social Justice Committee is an effort to do more than "admire the problem" of contemporary political issues. Whether it be attending rallies and protests, or reaching out to local non-profits and political affiliates, this committee aims to find ways to funnel our resources and energy into positive change.

Gardens

Our Garden Committee is a committed group of members who share a passion and expertise for organic gardening. Their efforts benefit the Pottstown Cluster by donating hundreds of pounds of fresh veggies annually.

Religious Education

Using curricula provided directly from the UUA, our Religious Education program aims to provide different educational experiences that expose our youngest members to the spiritual journey.

Membership

Our congregation is over 55 years old, and it is the Membership Committee that provides our rich history and current head count so that we have a strong and welcoming community that flourishes for years to come.
